Martin van Buren Clary born 11 December 1840 in Washington County, Arkansas and a son of William Price Clary and Sarah Elizabeth Greene. He died young, in 1874 in Henderson County, Texas., supposedly from injuries received during the Civil War. He marries Sarah Reaves/Reavis, one of the Revis/Reavis bunch that married Clarys and Armstrongs up in Illinois. heard that he was living in Athens, Texas, but also that he was living over near Brownsboro on a farm. Phalby Clary and her third and last husband, Isaac Laymance are buried in Brownsboro. Until I have the true story of Jasper Clary I am leaving the children with Martin as all records of the children have Martin as their father.
