Mr. Lamance was a native and lifelong resident of Modesto.
He was a cannery worker for Stanislaus Cannery for 10 years and also was a caregiver.
He was a member of the Swamp Rats Gun Club of Newman. He enjoyed fishing and cooking fried chicken.
He is survived by his children, Ron Lamance of Washington, and Jonnie Lamance and Thomas Lamance, both of Mo-desto; stepchildren, Stanley Evans of Colorado and Kari Evans of Modesto; mother, Mary Lamance of Modesto; brothers, Bill Lamance and Thomas Lamance, both of Modesto; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy J. Lamance.
Visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church, with a funeral at 11 a.m. at the church.
Inurnment at Ceres Memorial Park.
