Endicott, Jean Isobel ~ passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, January 30th, 2014 in her 91st year. Jean has reunited with her beloved husband Earl, who predeceased her in 2011. Cherished mother of David (Donna) of Mt. Albert, Carol Anne (Brian) Doughty of Stratford and Elaine Endicott of Hardisty, Alberta. Treasured grandmother of Neil (Chantal), Andrea (Omar), Matthew, Jocelyn, Laura, Riley, and Jalissa. Proud great-grandmother of Tristan. Jean was born and lived all her life in the Lindsay area. She and Earl farmed together for 37 years before moving to their home in Lindsay. For the past 2 years she has resided at Caressant Care, McLaughlin Road in Lindsay. Jean was an employee of the Bank of Montreal, the Lindsay Public Library and Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute in the library. She was also a caring and devoted homemaker for her family. She was a volunteer with the Ross Memorial Hospital Women's Auxiliary. She and Earl were active members of Cambridge Street United Church until health challenges of their senior years prevented their regular attendance. Jean took great pleasure in her love of animals, flowers, traveling with Earl and visiting with family and friends. Friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, February 5th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
