MRS. ANNA STAAB TAKEN BY DEATH

Mrs. Anna Staab, 74, of 1716 South Walnut street, died at 2 p.m. yesterday at St. John's hospital.


She was born in Lehman, Germany on July 3, 1869, and came to Springfield at the age of 10 months.


Except for a period of seven years in Jacksonville, she lived in Springfield all of her life.


Her husband, Herman Staab, whom she married on Sept. 2, 1891, at the Sacred Heart church, preceded her in death in 1920.


She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament church, Altar and Rosary society, and St. Anna Court, Women's Catholic Order of Forresters.


Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Davlin, city and Mrs. Frances Munsch, Durham, N.C.; two sons, Carl and William, both of city; one brother, Peter H. Kray, Des Plaines; nine grandchildren.
