Our husband, father, grandfather, and friend who we admire and adore has passed on to the great fishing hole in the sky on April 8, 2010.

He was born June 15, 1948 to Melvin and Vearl Eliza (Clark) Christiansen in Roosevelt.

He married the love of his life, Harriet Christiansen, on January 25, 1972. They shared their lives together for thirty-eight years, loved their three children, and enjoyed the lives of nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He will be remembered as a family man; first and foremost with courage, strength, a quirky sense of humor, and seeing the good in every situation.

He served his country in Vietnam, had a knack for writing poetry, and absolutely loved his five rail shots.

He touched the lives of many, teaching life lessons and inspiring others.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale.
A celebration of his life will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at The Woods, 6775 South 900 East, Midvale,
