ARCHIE BOWEN
Funeral services for Archie Bowen, 51, Raymond, Route 1, were held Saturday, 2 p.m. from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial was in Merchants Cemetery. The Revs Eugene Young, R. R. Newman, Quinton Floyd officiated. He and his wife, Mrs. Novis Bowen, were victims of the tornado which struck Jackson Thursday. They were also members of the Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Bowen, Bobby Bowen, both of Raymond, Route 1, and three brothers, Odell Bowen, Austin, Tex.; Albert Bowen, and Doyle Bowen, both of Gardo, Ala.
Memory Chapel, Bay Springs, was in charge of arrangements.
