Travis Alexander. The family moved to NW Ky in 1920 from Woodbury, TN and to Henderson KY by 1926, where Ann married Samuel A Sheffer. They were the parents of three sons, Thomas who died of scarlet fever as a toddler, Ronald and Darrell.Ann and Sam Sheffer operated a Real Estate and Insurance business in Henderson. At a late age she moved to Louisville, KY to be near her family. She was survived by Ron and his wife, Ann, Louisville, Darrell and his wife, Brenda of Irvine, Ca, 5 grandsons,5grgrchildren.
She was buried in the Fernwood Mausoleum in Henderson, KY with her husband. She also was survived by 2 brothers, Bennett Alexander of Henderson, KY and Laymon Alexander of South Bend, IN and a sister, Jewell Riddle of Nashville, TN. and many neices and nephews. Ann was a longtime volunteer at the Methodist Hopital in Henderson, KY.
