Survivors include a daughter, Briana Brookins of Milledgeville; his mother, Linda Brookins Martin and her husband, Wayne, of Wrightsville; his father Al Brookins and his wife of Ivey; a brother, Al Brookins, Jr. of Milledgeville; a stepbrother, Cale Martin of Louisville; grandmother, Carolyn Johnson Brookins of Milledgrville. In lieu of flowers, the family request expressions of sympathy be made to the Briana Brookins Educational Fund C/O Century Bank & Trust, P.O. Box 768, Milledgeville, GA 31061. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 16th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
