Born September 19, 1924 in Taylorsville, Utah to Frank and Amelia Jensen Atkinson. Married Faye Tryon. She preceded him in death. Married Esther Haynes Rowland May 7, 1993 in St. George.
Survived by wife; children, Connie (Clarence) Henry; Patricia (Ray) LeCheminant; stepchildren, Steven Rowland, Gary Rowland, Karen Bess, Susan Gibson; sister, Bernice Beckstead; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by daughter, Janet Burningham.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 16, 1995 at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
