Funeral services for Laura Linn, 78 of Tahlequah, will be held on Thursday, August 14 at 11:00 AM at Key Funeral Home Chapel in Locust Grove.
Rev. Larry Ellis will officiate with burial following at Row Cemetery in Colcord.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at Key Funeral Home in Pryor.
Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Locust Grove.
Laura Mae Linn was born on April 12, 1936 in Colcord to Lee and Lena (Tehee) Linn.
She grew up and attended school Colcord where she also graduated from high school.
After high school she was married to Alfred Ball; they made their home in Colcord.
Alfred preceded her in death in 1977 then in 1978, Laura began working for Franklin Electric in Siloam Springs, as an electric assembler; she retired in 1992.
Laura enjoyed quilting and attended church in Welling for several years.
She is survived by her daughter Marlena Barnes and husband Nathan of Kenwood; son Charles Ball and wife Debbie of Texas; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Alfred “Bullet” Ball, grandson Robert Ball, brother George Linn and sister Aline Scraper.
