He was a 1981 graduate of California High School.
He is survived by long-time girlfriend, Sheila Thompson; 1 son, Michael Bardwell of Jefferson City, MO; and 1 sister, Becky Smith of Aurora, IL.
He was preceded in death by 1 aunt, Carole Bardwell.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, MO. Inurnment will be in Sappington Cemetery near Clarksburg.
