Minden, LA Funeral services for J. Wayne Craig will be held Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Minden in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Leland Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.

Wayne was born March 9, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana, and entered into rest August 7, 2014 in Homer, Louisiana. He was a retired Farm Bureau Insurance Agency Manager for 35 years, a member of First Baptist Church Minden, Dorcheat Masonic Lodge, Minden Lions Club and past member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.

His son James Scott Craig, parents Faye Lindsey and William John Craig, brother Edwin Craig, in-laws Dr. James A Young and wife Nora Lee Stewart Young, Bill Fox, Jerry Dunn and Gay Wren preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Craig of Minden, sons John Wayne Craig, Jr. and wife Sherry of Minden, Jay Craig of Minden, Keith Craig and wife Denise of Minden, sisters Carolyn Morris and husband Johnny of Doyline, Darlene Chamberlain and husband Ronnie of Forest Hill, brothers James Lynn Craig of Doyline, Thomas Dale Craig of Bossier City, brother-in-law Marcus Wren of Minden, sister-in-laws Virginia Fox of Minden and Sue Dunn of Minden, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stewart Craig, Chad Alexander, Rusty Craig, Clay Craig, Stewart Wren, Neil Wood, Hugh Wood, and Rusty Wren.

Honorary pallbearers will Matthew Craig, Jim Sherrill Pruitt, Raymond Bell, Tom Moore, Ray Ward, Lem Grigsby, Harry Murphy, Gladden Willis, John Hall, Rod Gann, Curtis Butler, and Marcus Wren.
