Adele F. Torok, 93, of St. John, IN, formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Jim) Hellrung, Fran (Bob) Justak and Kim (John) Stahura; grandchildren, Debbie Attar, Jeff (Brenda) Justak, Jennifer (Greg) Kraft, Chris (Suzanne) Hellrung, Todd (Michele) Hellrung, Katie (Patrick) Small and Joe Stahura; great grandchildren, Jacob, Kory and Alex Attar, Megan, Peyton and Jay Justak, Lauren, Kathryn and Ryan Kraft, Madeline, Jimmy, Sarah, Kayla, Josh and Samantha Hellrung; sister-in-law, Gloria Torok; preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Josephine Pokropinski; husband, Albert F. Torok; sister, Irene (Michael) Sargovetz.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Adele was a retired Manager for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company with 37 years of service. She was a member of the Active Telephone Pioneers. Adele was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and a former member of St. Thomas More Church, where she was active after her retirement for 10 years in Pastoral Care, Eucharistic Ministry and as a Greeter.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Adele was a retired Manager for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company with 37 years of service. She was a member of the Active Telephone Pioneers. Adele was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and a former member of St. Thomas More Church, where she was active after her retirement for 10 years in Pastoral Care, Eucharistic Ministry and as a Greeter.
