Cherry Bradford, 63, of Kittanning, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 13, 1951, in Templeton, to Leroy and Evelyn (Slagle) Anderson. Though Cherry called Kittanning her home, she lived in many places throughout her life, including Germany, England, Maryland and Arkansas. While in Maryland, she owned the Country Garden Deli for five years and then later worked at Tractor Supply in Kittanning. Most recently, Cherry was an inspector for Bayer Health Care. She was a member of Templeton Church of God and in her free time enjoyed collecting antiques and adding to her doll collection. Cherry loved wearing jewelry and was known for putting the "F" in "Fancy." Sports were another one of her interests, and she especially liked watching baseball games and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Family was very important to her and playing with her grandchildren was her greatest joy. Cherry will be best remembered for her quick wit and sassy humor and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished by her son, Damon Fyock and wife, Dayle, of Westminster, Md.; grandchildren, Jude, Lucy and Dominic; and sisters, Shirley Long and husband, Charles, and Peggy Wolfe and husband, Lester, all of Kittanning, Dawn Enterline and husband, Mark, of Dayton, and Jill Palilla, of Elderton. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, James Bradford, whom she married June 10, 2000, and who died May 1, 2003; brothers, Tommy and Bill Anderson; and sister, Kathy Tatsak. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at the BAUER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, with the Rev. Alfred Reedy officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
