Jack Nordenstrom, 35, of Minneapolis died Wednesday, Feb. 4 following an accident while at work as a plasterer in Minneapolis. He was working on a platform 30 feet above the floor when he and two companions fell.
Nordenstrom died that night at a Minneapolis hospital; his two companions were less seriously injured and were able to serve as pallbearers at his funeral.
Funeral services were held at the Ebenezer Lutheran church in Minneapolis Monday, Feb. 9, with the Rev. O.D. Thompson officiating . Interment was in Fort Snelling National cemtery.
Jack Nordenstrom, son of Conrad and Minnie Nordenstrom, was born Nov. 6, 1934, at Pine City. He resided with his parents in Comfort township; he attended school at Mora and was a graduate of the Mora High school.
He served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1962 and was stationed in Germany for a time. He had been married for about two years.
