"Harry G. Lightcap, Third Street, California, died suddenly Sunday, May 27, 1951 at his home one week following the death of his wife, Luella Lightcap. Both were well-known in the Valley section. He was born at New Alexandria in 1875, a son of Samuel G. and Margaret Walker Lightcap. For a number of years prior to his death he was manager of the Lightcap Hardware Company. He was formerly a mine superintendent of the H.C. Frick Coal Company in the Brownsville district. Mr. Lightcap had also been associated with the banks of Brownsville, Charleroi, and California. He was secretary of the California School Board for many years. He was a member of the Brownsville Lodge, F. and A.M., member of Syria Temple, Pittsburgh, the Consistory and other Masonic Orders. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of California. Surviving is a son...."
