Antonia (Toni) E. Carrollo, 94 died August 3rd, 2014 at her place of residence, Ware Memorial Care Center in Amarillo, TX.
Toni was born on October 31st, 1919, in Dawson, NM to Andro and Mary Segotta. She was a member of St. Patrick-St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Raton, NM. She worked many years as a waitress at the "Black" Hood restaurant and the Spur Lanes and Supper Club in Raton, NM. Toni was a loving wife and mother.
Preceding her death were husbands Kellos Lee Drury and John Joseph Carrollo. Also preceding her in death were brothers Jack, Andrew, Steve and John Segotta, and sisters Mary Williston, Elizabeth Edmondson, Catherine Watier, Josephine Riali and Mildred Trueba.
Survivors include son Kellos Lee Drury, Jr. and wife Carol; grandsons Robert (Brandi) Drury, Donny (Tammy) Drury of Amarillo, TX; granddaughters Peggy Willis, of Rockwall, TX and Tessa (Tim) Russell of Cromwell, OK and 8 great grandchild and one great-great grandchild. Also surviving Toni is brother Frank (Maxine) Segotta of Lubbock, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She had many caregivers at Ware Memorial Care Center and Toni considered every one of them her extended family. We thank them dearly for the wonderful care she received.
Visitations will take place Thursday August 7th from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home Chapel. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held Friday August 8th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick-St. Joseph's Catholic Church recited by Frank Cimino. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Father John Trambley as the celebrant. Rite of committal and interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton, NM. Funeral arrangements for Antonia (Toni) Carrollo are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton, NM.
