Mark Christopher Abresch, 63, of Bloomsburg peacefully passed away on July 18, 2014.

Born Oct. 10, 1950, on Long Island, N.Y., Mark was a graduate of East Meadow High School and attended college at SUNY, Potsdam.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Vincent and Antoinette Abresch, and is survived by his older brother, Michael, and three younger brothers: Timothy, Clark (Corky), and John. In addition, he was the proud uncle of Rebecca, Amanda, Zachary, and Adam, and great-uncle of Hailey, Matthew, and Cassandra.

Mark was a friend and brother to all. He was a warm, caring, gentle, and giving human being. His many and varied experiences in life led him to eventually become an artist, a man who chronicled nature through his photographic prowess. He helped us all to truly see things that we might never have even been looking for. The camera was his voice, and we all listened.

Memorial donations may be made in Mark's name to: Cameras for Kids Foundation Inc., Attn: Betsey Chesler, 368 S. Military Trail, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442. Tel: 954-354-5080.
