Brenda Charlene Hawkins, 54, daughter of Juanita and Clinton Strain. Brenda's childhood was joy-filled at her Black Pond home with her loving and adored parents, Jess and Charlene Plowman.
Brenda and Roger F. Hawkins were married on June 6, 1970. They have three daughters, Jessica Claudine, Casandra Layne, and Amanda Jayne. Brenda loved her girls and delighted in her five grandchildren, Colton, Lauryn, Ciera, Dawson, and David. They loved her dearly.
Brenda is survived by her daughters, Jessica Hawkins, Rolla, Casandra and Phil Hamilton, Colton and Ciera of St. James, Amanda and Davey Gray, Lauryn, Dawson, and David of Salem, Brenda also leaves to mourn, her mother, Charlene Plowman and sister Phyllis Barnes of Summersville, her brother, Franklin Strain and wife Brenda, Michael, Jennifer and families of Chanute, KS. Her biological mother, Juanita Files, and brothers, Danny and Claude Files and families of Annapolis, MO. Missing her will also be her grandmother, Pearl Hawkins, her niece, Tiffany, and Bill Green, Gaven, Duncan, and Saxton and her nephew Barry and Jodie Barnes and Tanner. Along with Aunt Maxine and Uncle Jim Fry of Eminence, Aunt Mona Plowman of Katy, TX, and her uncle Leslie Ellerman and wife Gladis of Wellington, CO, all her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Preceding Brenda in death is her father, Jess Plowman, her biological father, Clinton Strain, her brother, Allen Strain, sister Sheila Horn, and nephew Johnny Hawkins.
