Mary was born in Wabash, Indiana to Forest and Ella (Hipskind) Weesner.

She married Russell L. Myers on July 23, 1934. He died March 10, 1996. She was a lifelong member and longtime organist at the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash. She was also a member of the Rosary Sodality. Mary Helen graduated from Wabash High School in 1932, worked as a secretary first for Plummer and Plummer Attorneys at Law, American Rock Wool, and finally for Ford Meter Box. She was a member and Past President of the Wanaseca Chapter of the National Secretaries Association. Mary Helen was an avid bridge player, was a Duplicate Life Bridge Master, and a member of the American Contract Bridge League. She also wrote poems at Christmas for C.H.E.E.R.

She is survived by 4 Daughters, Beverly Kay (Fred) Hight of Speedway, IN, Marilyn Joan Hoy of Wabash, IN, Sandra Sue (George) Middleton of Cape Coral, FL, Linda (Carl) Roffelsen-Zierman of Lincoln, CA; Son, Marland J. "Marty" (Gloria) Myers of New Haven, IN; 16 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandson.
