Mary E. Hux, 103 yrs, of Carmel, passed away August 4. She was born on September 26, 1910 in Merom, Indiana to the late Willard and Ada Ephlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clem J. Hux. Mary is survived by her son, Alan M. (Karen L.) Hux; and grandchildren, Jeremy (Kelly)Hux, Robert (Jennie) Hux, Benjamin (Melissa) Hux, and William (Candice) Hux. Also surviving are 3 great grandchildren, Charlie, Emma and Hixon. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Leppert Mortuary & Crematory, Nora Chapel.
