Lucienne B. Albro (Cinny) of Enfield, CT passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014. She was born in Springfield, Mass on September 8, 1919. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jones. She graduated from Classical High School, Colby Jr. College (now Colby Sawyer) in New London, NH. Afterwards, she graduated from Springfield Hospital School of Nursing in September 1942 as a registered nurse. She was married to Henry O. Albro who passed away in 1976. She leaves two children: Gary J. Albro and his wife, Barbara of Syracuse, NY and Donna G. Albro of Exeter, NH. She is survived by four grandsons: Jonathan and Michele Branch of Warwick, NY, Jamie and Casey Branch of Concord, NH, Adam and Lynn Branch of Richlands, NC and Brett and Hilary Albro of Arlington, VA. She also leaves 12 great grandchildren. Cinny was a former corporator of the former Wesson Maternity Hospital, Baystate Medical Center, a member of the Junior League of Springfield, Atalanta Club, past member of the Longmeadow Country Club and a member of the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow. Cinny had a wide circle of friends love of bridge, vestamayd rug making, gourmet cooking, theatre and gardening. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Church of Christ, 763 Longmeadow Street, Longmeadow, MA 01106. Calling hours will be from 11AM to 12:30PM on Thursday, August 7th at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow. A service at the funeral home will follow at 12:30PM.
