Emma Corrine Hermone joined her husband, Hank, in heaven on Aug. 1, 2014. She is now at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Corrine was born on August 8, 1919 in Cuba, Missouri to Emma and Henry Bullington. Corrine was the second-youngest of 11 children. She was married on Novmeber 13, 1937 to Henry "Hank" Hermone; they lived in Lincoln, Nebraska for 2 years before moving to California in 1939. Corrine has lived in Placerville, Calif. the last 16 years of her life.
She leaves behind her daughter, Janet Brouillard (Andre); son, Larry Hermone (Vicki); grandchildren, Mark, Steven, and Bob (Sheri); and five great-grandchildren. Her grandson Michael Hermone preceded her in death in 2013.
Corrine was a quiet, gentle person who loved being with family and friends. She especially loved holding and loving babies. Corrine was an avid reader and loved traveling.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., First Lutheran Church in Placerville, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Snowline Hospice.
