Truman departed this life as the result of a vehicle accident on Hwy BB 1.4 miles west of Greenfield, MO. He was born to the late Harley and Faye (Watson) Campbell. He was married to Violet M. Myers on October 18, 1948 in Ash Grove, MO.


He was a U.S. Army veteran and members of the Mt. Olive Christian Church and the Greenfield Saddle Club. Truman served in Okinawas for two years. He was a farmer and carpenter. He retired from Thorco Industry in Lamar, MO.


Truman loved storytelling with family. He loved horses.


Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife, one son, five daughters, one brother, two step-brothers, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several neices and nephews and a host of other relatives.


Services were held Tuesday, February 21, 2006 in Mt. Olive Christian Church with Rev. Ken Roller officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Dade County, MO. Funeral services were under the direction of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
