Ronnie E. Spencer, 68, of Scottsburg, IN, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at his home.

Born April 5, 1942 in Scottsburg, IN, he was the son of Carl and Lillie (Lewis) Spencer who are both deceased.

Ronnie owned and operated Ron Spencer Logging. He was a member of the Church of God in Crothersville, loved nature, flowers, and timber.

Survivors include, a daughter, Amanda Konkle of Indianapolis, IN, 8 grandchildren, 5 siblings, Lena Bailey of Scottsburg, Joyce Kleopfer of Lexington, IN, David Spencer of Austin, Texas, Betty McClain of Crestwood, Ky, Gladys Henson of Milton, Ky.

He was preceded in death by 3 daughters, Vickie, Mindy and Candy Thompson.

Reverend Danny Kessler will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, with burial to follow at Lexington Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and after 10:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
