Age 84, son of the late Peter (Pete) and Agnes Krasman Bestvina. Peter lived in Erie for most of his life, moving to Fla. in 1994. He was an avid coin and gun collector, and had been a member of St. Luke's R.C. Church for many years. He worked in Electronics at G.E. for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1975. He was a member of G.E. Quarter Century Club and the G.E. Retirees Employee Assn. Peter was a US Army veteran of WWII, stationed in Europe, and was a member of the DAV, the VFW and American Legion Post 5 in Palm Coast, Fla.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Michael Bestvina; and four sisters, Ann Meshanko, Agnes Tintle, and Veronica and Mary Gulick.
Peter is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anna Gulick Bestvina; a daughter, Rebecca Farrell and her husband Doug, of Rochester, N.Y.; a son, Robert Bestvina and his wife Diane, of Waterford; a brother, William Bestvina of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
