Mabel M. Cole, 94, of Liberty, MO, passed away peacefully August 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Mabel is survived by Robert, her husband of 74 years; daughter Renae Cole of St. Louis, MO; daughter Risa Glinn and her husband Randy of Kansas City, MO; and two step-grandchildren, Randall Glinn and Stephanie Whitener; and one step-great-grandchild Addison. Mabel is preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Pierce and by nine siblings.

Mabel and Robert had lived in Liberty since 1947 and she leaves behind many caring friends and neighbors. She was a private person who wanted everyone around her to be happy. Mabel lived a quiet life and loved her family.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Souder Funeral Home 1333 NE Barry RD. Kansas City, MO 64155, under the direction of the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. A committal service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
