Wilson W. Cosner, 70, of Elkton, died Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Sentara RMH.

Born June 12, 1944 in Mt. Storm, WV, he was the son of the late Frank Tobias and Pearl Ellen Chapman Cosner.

He was employed as a truck driver.

On January 20, 2001, he married Betsy Dean in Broadway.

In his leisure, Wilson liked to hunt, fish, camp or do anything outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Betsy Cosner; a daughter, Brenda Ross and husband, Dwaine of New Market; three sons, Daniel Cosner and wife, Krista of Broadway, Randy Cosner and wife, Jill of Broadway and Billy Fetterolf of Elkton; eight grandchildren, Mckayla Cosner, Chloe Cosner, Isaac Crews, Cash Cosner, Mea Cosner, Chris Ross, Kyla Ross and Mason Fetterolf; two sisters, Naomi Goudy and husband, Tom of Lacey Springs and Leona Osborne and husband, Roger of Broadway.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Cosner and five sisters, Thelma Lewis, Vauda Rexrode, Dessie Miller, Verda Brown and Lola "Doll" Fishel.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM August 7, 2014 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, with the family receiving friends from 1:00PM until the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.
