Johnie A. Baines, 81, of Adamsville, formerly of Sumiton, died Monday, May 14, 2001, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in the Good Hope Cemetery in Sayre with Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton directing.
Baines is survived by his sisters, Mamie Bookout and her husband, Bookie of West Jefferson and Annie Mae Golden of Turner Town; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Brenda Key of Tarrant.
