Kenneth Bravinder
Suicides At His
Home In California

Clippings from newspapers published at Long Beach, California, informed Humboldt county friends that Kenneth Bravinder, 38, son of E. B. "Ted" Bravinder, suicided in the garage of his home in Long Beach Monday, January 21, and his funeral was held the following Saturday.

The cause of his act was despondency over a lingering period of ill health.

Kenneth was at the time of his death employed as a geologist for an oil company and had a lucrative position. He had been ill some time, and his father had taken him to an institution adapted to the treatment of such cases, and had left him there. However, it is presumed that he returned home immediately, and hanged himself in the garage of his home. His return was not known by his family, and his body was found hanging from a rafter in the garage suspended by a clothes line.

He was married and had two children, Keith and Judy. His wife and family and his father survive him.

He was born in Humboldt county and moved with his family Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Bravinder, to California about twenty years ago.
