Gregory M. Castiglione, of Fermantown Road Brockway, Pennsylvania died on July 31, 2014 at his residence. Born in DuBois, Pennsylvania on December 7, 1988, he was the son of Gregory A. and Cynthia Britton Castiglione; he was married to Alison Beck on April 17, 2010, and she survives.

Greg was employed at Owens Illinois Plant 19 in Crenshaw as an Apprentice Forming Operator in the Hot End. He was a U.S. Army/Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran, where he had served in Infantry Stryker Brigade, 28 Divison Charlie Company, 1st of the 112.

At the time of his death, Mr. Castiglione was serving as a member of the National Guard and has been a Guard member since February 2006, while still in his junior year of high school. He was a member of the Brockway Vol. Hose Company, Brockway area Ambulance station #10, Parson-Marnatti Post #95 of the American Legion.

Gregory enjoyed camping, hunting, hanging out with his friends and most of all spending time with his children. He was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway.

In addition to his parents Greg and Cindy and his loving wife Alison, he is also survived by two children Joseph and Leah Castiglione; two sisters Brittany (Zack) Beers of DuBois and Gina Castiglione of Brockway; a brother Ben Castiglione of Brockway; his maternal grandmother Louise Britton and his paternal grandmother Louise Castiglione both of Brockway; his father and mother-in-law David and Connie Beck of Brookville; a sister-in-law Stephanie Beck of Hazen and a nephew Noah Johnson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Britton, his paternal grandfather Sam Castiglione and an infant sister Emily.

Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund, Brockway Ambulance, Brockway Vol. Hose Company, or the charity of the donors choice.
