MRS. T. J. JOHNSON, JR., VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA

Following only a few days illness with pneumonia, resulting from the influenza, Mrs. T. J. Johnson, Jr., died at her home on Sublimity Street, last Friday morning.

Leona Curry Johnson was born in Clay County, KY, January 9, 1884, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Curry, but in early childhood she removed with her parents to London, and has since made this her home.

On December 24, 1902, she was married to Mr. T. J. Johnson, Jr., and that union was blessed by six children, Emett(sic) R., 14, Roy, 13, William F., 11, Mabel, 8, Ruth, 5, and Dorotha(sic) May, age 3.

Besides her children and husband, Mrs. Johnson is survived by her mother, Mrs. Susan Curry, a sister, Mrs. J. M. Harper, and two brothers, James B. and W. F. Curry, who have the sympathy of all in their great loss and sad bereavement.

Funeral services were conducted at the residence Saturday afternoon by Rev. H. L. Thornton and Dr. Geo. F. Lucas, followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery*, and was attended by a large number of sorrowing friends.
