After high school, Kay worked for Kay Jewelers in Sunrise Mall, Phillip Randolph Custom Jewelers, Payne Weber, and Pacific Southwest Bank. Kay had a great love for animals and was always caring for strays. The Dallas Cowboys were her passion throughout her life. Perhaps they will have a winning season with her special 50 yard line seat in heaven.
She is preceded in death by numerous loved ones, including her high school sweetheart, George Thomas.
Kay is survived by family members in East Texas, California and San Antonio, Texas; and her beloved Raul Lopez.
A Graveside Service will be held at Seaside Memorial Park.
