Thomas J. Morton, 66, of Owensboro, left for heaven on Saturday, August 2, 2014. He was born on July 2, 1948 to Rola & Martha Shelton Morton.

He was a retired Boilermaker (Local #40) out of Elizabethtown, KY. Tom was all about family, friends, and cars. Always a man of his word, Tom was willing to help anyone at anytime. He just loved people and being a "Gearhead"!

Tom will always be remembered by his wife, Donna Case-Morton; two children, Devon McCollum (Natasha Hall) of Kent, WA; Kimberly Morton McKnight (Al) of Jackson, TN; 6 sisters and 2 brothers, Letha Ames of Clarksville, IN, Mary Kittinger (Ronnie) of Sacramento, KY, Elizabeth France (Marvin) of Central City, KY, Louise Barbash (Richard) of Orlando, FL, Dorothy Morton Neal (Harry) of S. Carrolton, KY, Gracie Worthington (Craig) of Calhoun, Pete Morton of Lewisport, Rollie "Buddy" Morton (Jane) of Lewisport; step-son, Jason Kirkman of Owensboro, and a special neice, Valerie Wilson of Nebo, KY; 6 grandchildren, M.J., Kameron, Zoe, Kimora, Matthew, and Charlotte; and 3 devoted pets, Scooter, Lucy, and Creasie.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
