PORTALES, N.M. - Funeral services for Samuel Boone, 91, of Portales, are pending with Wheeler Mortuary. Burial will be in Portales cemetery.
Boone died Friday in Clovis Memorial Hospital. He was born in Denton County in 1876.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. F.H. Murrell of Borger, Mrs. Truett Hillard of Portales, 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
