Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Garrett, widow of the late William A. Garrett, who died at 6:00 Monday evening at the Johnson nursing home on South State street, where she had been a patient for the past week….
Mrs. Garrett was born January 1, 1863 in Sparta, Ill, and had spent the greater part of her life in Franklin. She was 80 years of age….

Final rites were held at the Franklin Memorial church Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Garrett, widow of William A. Garrett….
Because of a change of burial arrangements, interment took place in Greenlawn cemetery here and not in the cemetery at Fairland as was first planned….
Four grandchildren are the only survivors.
