Nancy's Sioux name was Wiyangewin; "English" name Nancy Stone. She was married to Andrew Myrick, with whom she had only one surviving child, Mary Myrick. Some of her younger children used the Myrick name, but were not Andrew's.

After Andrew's death she married Thomas Wakute and John B. Wapaha, under whose name I believe she was buried. But there is no tombstone or record of her burial.

Various records show her birth in widely varying years, from 1832 to 1846, so this one is only a guess, from the 1900 census.

According to her death certificate, she was 89 yrs. old when she passed away from bronchial pneumonia.
