Aaron was born 1832/34 (see below), the son of Aaron W. Kircher and Sarah M. Hinchman. He married first to Harriet Brown, with whom he had at least six children. He married second to Mary Elizabeth Kille on 8 Oct. 1873 in Pilesgrove, Salem Co., NJ. He was a storekeeper (1860), waterman (1870/1880), and farmer (1885) in Greenwich Twp./Berkley/East Greenwich, Gloucester Co., NJ.
Note: Aaron actually died 24 May 1885 in East Greenwich Twp., Gloucester Co. His modern (replacement?) monument, shown to the right, incorrectly gives the death year as 1883. His 1885 death certificate gives his age as 51 years, 11 months & 9 days, which would put his birth about 15 June 1834. This is consistent with the 1880 Census, which gives his age then as 46. However, earlier census records show ages consistent with birth in 1831-1833.
