She was born Dec. 17, 1894, in Tyrone, the daughter of Horace and Mary (Ermine) Fisher, and was twice married, first in 1925, to George Comfort, who died in 1946, then in 1948 to Alva F. Wertz, who died in 1962. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Agnes Dysart of Hollidaysburg. Mrs. Wertz was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Saleme & Syaebler Funeral Home, Juniata...Services by Rev. Harold H. Hayes. Interment in Waring Cemetery, Tyrone.
