Marian was the oldest of four daughters of Edgar and Anise Davis.

Marian was married twice. Her first marriage was to Frank D. Keller. They were married on June 27, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri. They had one daughter, Marilyn, born about 1927.

Marian's second marriage was to Irwin John Twiehaus, DVM, on December 21, 1936.
