Wilma was born In Indianapolis on January 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Charles & Carrie (Loudermilk) McCoy. On March 15, 1952, she married James E. Hanlon.
Wilma had been employed with Domestic Laundry in Seymour. She was a loving and caring mother and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Terry J. (Terry) Abbott, Joyce L. Dixon, Cheryl R. (Jeffrey) Kinkoph, Kimberly J. (Ronnie) Roberts, Pamela S. (Rick)Walters, Robin L. Hanlon, 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, brothers, Harold and Ronald McCoy.
Preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter Diana Kay Hanlon, grandson Steven Michael Dixon, sisters Maxine Sechman and Gerri Woodrum, brothers Ray and Kenneth McCoy.
Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, July 29th, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Keith Ross officiating. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday after 10:00 a.m. at Voss Chapel.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, with a Voss dove release.
Memorials may be given to the Premier Hospice of Seymour, Seymour Crossing or University Heights in Greenwood.
