Estefana married Eusebio Castellon, in September of 1937, in Austin. She was a homemaker and member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Abernathy. Estefana moved to Lubbock from Abernathy in 2004.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 5, 1995; children, Asencion Castellon, Celestina Castellon, and Maria Elena Munoz; brothers, Geronimo and Felipe Rodriguez; and sisters, Paz Moreno, Paulina Flores, Sofia Rodriguez, and Elena Ramirez.
She is survived by 12 children, Felicitas Guillen and husband Andres, Patsy Castellon, Sofia Ramos, Estefana Ramirez, Juan Castellon, all of Lubbock, Georgia Brierly of Greeley, Colo., Perfecto Castellon and wife Pauline of Mt. Vernon, W.A., Isabel Garza and husband Victor, Irene Morales and husband Augustine, Anita Equiniones and husband Steve, all of Odessa, Manuel Castellon, and Aurora Wooten of Redding, Calif.; 34 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Rd. Ste. 12-A, Lubbock, TX 79424 or to Kidney Disease Associates, 1607 W. Loop 289, Lubbock, TX 79416.
Mass of Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Abernathy, with Rev. Ernesto Lopez as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Abernathy Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at White Memorial Chapel in Lubbock. Arrangements are under the personal care of White Funeral Home.
