Mom was born August 12, 1928 to Charles and Emma Boulton.
She married Carlos Gardiner on August 25, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mom was fortunate to grow up on the Boulton Dairy Farm, where strong family ties and hard work were instilled in her at an early age. Everything she did was for her family and those she loved. She enjoyed being with family and friends anytime, and anywhere. Mom lived life with passion and endured valiantly to the end.
Lucille worked for over twenty years at J.C. Penney, where she developed some of her most cherished and lasting friendships.
She is survived by her three sons, Kim (Gayle), Kevin (Debbie), and Vance (Cheryl); eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Bills. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Blanche McMillan and Dorothy Russell; and her brothers, Howard (Bud) Boulton, Melvin Boulton, Jack Boulton, and Earl Boulton.
The family expresses their appreciation to the wonderful people at Legacy House of South Jordan and First Choice Home Health and Hospice for the love and care given to mom.
