Celina – Funeral Services for Wayford Earl Scott, age 72, of Celina were conducted Saturday, August 2, 2014 from the chapel of the Upton Funeral Home with Don Bryant and Les Ditto officiating. Vistiation with the family will be on Friday from 8:00 a.m. til 10:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. til 2:00 p.m.
Wayford Scott passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Celina, TN.
Wayford Earl Scott was born March 26, 1942 in Celina, Tennessee to John William and Dovie Dee (Arms) Scott. He was married to the late Janet Louise Tinsley on April 14, 1962, she preceded him in death on November 26, 2008.

Wayford was self-employed in the flooring business and attended the West Lake Avenue Church of Christ.
Wayford Scott was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Howard, Bill, and Sylvestus Scott; sisters, Juanita Blakely, Geneva Scott, Mae Adams, Jualdean Tinsley, and Zula Davis.
Survivors:
Sons and Daughters-in-law, Tony (Tonya) Scott of Celina, Tennessee & Mike (Talisha) Scott of Morrilton, Arkansas

Brothers: Estus Scott of Celina, TN and Perry Lee (Mary) Scott of Knoxville, TN.

Sister: Betty Faye McLearran of Celina, TN.
Grandchildren, Chase Scott, Austin Scott, Payton Scott, Tera Stockton, and Toni Nicole Ledbetter.
Great-Grandchildren, Hunter, Mia, and Cole Ledbetter.
