Marian Stelling, age 85, of Bemidji, MN, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Neilson Place, Bemidji. Inurnment will be in the spring at Oak Hills Cemetery, Bemidji. Memorials may be directed to Evangelical Free Church, Bemidji or Oak Hills Fellowship, Bemidji.

Marian was born December 17, 1919. She attended various schools in the Minnetonka area and graduated from Mound High School. She attended and graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She came to Oak Hills Bible Institute and served there before going to Nigeria, West Africa where she served with SIM (Sudan Interior Mission) for 15 years. Marian then returned to Oak Hills Bible Institute where she worked with children and youth in camp ministries, in KYB (Know Your Bible), and other young people's ministries. She semi-retired from Oak Hills in 1995 while serving as the college registrar.

Marian is survived by her brothers: Merrill Stelling, Apple Valley, MN and Dell Stelling, Burnsville, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Roy Stelling, and sister Florlla Luetke.
