THELMA LOUISE (WAGNER) BOSTON, age 82, of Mount Vernon, passed on to her heavenly reward on Monday, February 13, 2006 at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
She was born August 3, 1923 in Cambridge, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles Norman Wagner and Ruth Ann (McKim) Wagner. Thelma was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene and served beside her husband 33 years as a pastor's wife.
Thelma graduated Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration from Olivet Nazarene College in May of 1949. She married Hollis Edward Boston in Bourbonais, Illinois on January 15, 1949. She worked in banking, business and administration while supporting her husband's call and raising her family.
Thelma is survived by her husband, daughters and sons-in-law Alice and Buck Traylor of Andover, Ohio, Carol and Larry Hall of Mount Vernon, and Betty Green of Wilmington, Ohio; her son and daughter-in-law Mark (Sherri) Boston of Plant City, Florida; her nine grandchildren Tiffany (Traylor) Tripp of Waldorf, Maryland, Alicia (Traylor) Chamberlain of Medina, Ohio, Lesli (Hall) Anderson of Westerville, Ohio, Lauren Hall of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Brittany Green and Tara Green both of Wilmington, Ohio, Michelle Boston of St. Petersburg, Florida, Bethany Boston and Christopher Boston both of Plant City, Florida.
An infant brother Paul Norman Wagner preceded her in death.
