Luther M. "Milt" Brewer, 78, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away October 1, 2005, in Lake Taylor Hospital.
A native of Dendron, Virginia, he was the son of the late Hazel B. Baugh and Luther M. Brewer, Sr. He was the retired Owner and Operator of Wilkins-Brewer Plumbing Corp. He was U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII and a member of the Cypress Point Country Club. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy B. Brewer; three daughters, Leslie Polen and her husband Jeff of Virginia Beach, VA, Rebecca Peach of Panama City, FL and Deborah Wilkerson and her husband Bruce of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, Ronald Rice and his wife Frances of Norfolk, VA; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel with Rev. Mark Bender officiating. The burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
