Pat is my 1st Cousin. She was so pretty and always had a big smile. She visited us when we lived in Columbus OH, sometime in 1960 or 1961. Rest in Peace dear cousin, I can still hear your laughter.

Patricia June Wright, 68, of Camp Wood, died May 9, 2004, on Mother's Day.
She was born Aug. 1, 1935, in Maywood, Ind., to Ira "Jud" and Irene Clevenger.

She was the second of eight children and was called "Tricia" by all her brothers and sisters.

According to family members, beginning at a young age she loved to draw and design clothes. Later, she became interested in painting and created several pieces that are much appreciated and cherished by friends and family.

They said she loved being involved in a variety of things such as reupholstering, ceramics, sewing and acting in local plays, never limiting herself.

Wright's family knew her as a strong, loving and caring person. Many experienced her quick-wit and great sense of humor and were at times tested by her straightforward manner of "cutting to the chase."

She was willing to travel anywhere at any time to help family and friends, and she will long be remembered as strong, unyielding and stubborn in her love for others.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; two daughters, L. Wright, and M. Olivarez and husband, J. Olivarez Jr.; three sisters, V. Lucier, B. Grimaldi and G. Soukup; three brothers, M. Clevenger, I. Clevenger and M. Clevenger; six grandchildren, S. Wright, J. DeLeon, B. DeLeon, V. DeLeon, J. Olivarez III, and V. Olivarez; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Camp Wood with Carroll Vernor officiating.

Many thanks to Mark for transferring my sweet cousin to my care.
