Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 10 a.m. until 1:35 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Monsignor John A. Weber. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a daughter, Mildred Hetrick, Houston, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph H.and Naomi L. Acardo, Baton Rouge; a sister, Victoria G. Spizale, Gramercy; five grandchildren, Richard J. Acardo, Sandra A. McCann and Ray H. Acardo, all of Baton Rouge, Claudia Sheppard, Houston, Texas, and Lloyd H. Hetrick, Lafayette; five great-grandchildren, Christopher, Leanne and Mandy McCann, all of Baton Rouge, Jameson and Hayley Hetrick, both of Lafayette; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Henry Acardo; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Gagliano; four brothers,Joseph, Lawrence, Martin and Marion Gagliano; and a sister, Mamie Gagliano Manda. Pallbearers will be Richard J. Acardo, Ray H. Acardo, Joe Accardo, John L. McCann, Lloyd H. Hetrick, and Frank Stabiler. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
