Joseph F. Boeckman dies at Okeene, Oklahoma. Mr.and Mrs. Joseph F. Huhmann of
near here received word the first of last week that her brother, Joseph F.
Boeckman of Okeene, Oklahoma, was critically ill, and they accompanied by their
son, George, of Hitchcock, Oklahoma, who was then there on a visit, and Mrs.
B.H. Huhmann, also near here, departed for Okeene, but when they arrived there
Mr. Boeckmann had passed away. He was 45 years of age.
Mr. Boeckman was born in Miller County and was a son of Joseph Boeckmann, who
was a pioneer farmer of the Osage River. He went to Oklahoma when a young man
and there married Miss Barbara Loumen, who with two sons survive Mr.Boeckmann.
The two boys are Francis, age 14 and George, age 7. He also leaves two brothers
and two sisters to mourn his death. They are Wm. and Fritz Boechmann and Mrs.
Wm. Luecke of Okeene, Oklahoma and Mrs. Joe F. Boeckmann of Rte 1, Tuscumbia.
Furneral serviced were held at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Okeene,
Oklahoma Monday November 2, 1931, at 9 o'clock. Rev, Father Peers, conducting
the service.
